I’m back home, I’m tired and I’m dealing with post-vacation blues. *sigh*

Rafa has never won this tournament, an odd fact given that he likes its slow hard courts and Latin vibe, and that he made his first serious breakthrough there by reaching the final as an 18-year-old in 2005. - Interview with Toni about IW
Per Genny: “Toni’s already on his way to Miami. He’s happy w/ Rafa’s progress in IW (that is, about Rafa’s game, not the result). Toni thinks Rafa still needs to gain a little bit more of confidence to be able to play the big points w/more calm. It’ll come w/more wins. But Toni thinks Rafa’s is on the good track & his level in IW is a good starting point not only for Miami, but also for the European clay.”
